Dear Factorians,
We hope you are all enjoying your summer and are recovering from a year of studies. September is just around the corner and the start of the new season is within sight. In light of this we have announcements regarding a new board, practice schedules and competition-planning.
First off we would like to thank all of you who, despite this periods’ setbacks, paid their contributions for the season 2020/2021. We will be investing these funds into professionalizing the club further and attracting new members.
Since in 2020 the club was operating with an interim-board but it was apparent that a breath of fresh air was necessary to move forward with the club. For the 2021/2022 season HVV Football Factory has three new board members who have already started working behind the scenes on preparations for the new season.
The 2021/2022 board consists of an enthusiastic team with ambition to make our club better with every step. Mark Voskamp will remain interim chairman, Luuk Verheggen has taken the position of vice-chairman, Abe Moedt is our new secretary and Alexandre Jubault has stepped in as the treasurer. We will be working closely with Pieter van Schie, and the team captains to make sure the club functions well.
Very important: to secure your spot in a team for the coming season you need to re-enroll yourself with the club, follow this link. Do this as soon as possible and save yourself and us late registration troubles!
We are already busy with setting up the teams for the new season, preparations for training and matchdays. We are ambitious to organise many more activities with the club outside of the regular trainings and matches, we want to get everyone more involved with the club and feel part of a beautiful football community. To help us make the coming season a great season we will need the help of our members, that is why we are looking to install some committees. More information on this will follow soon!
To mark in your agenda’s: first trainings will be given on Wednesday 18th of August for male teams and Friday 27th August for the female team. The club is also participating in the regional cup, the first game will be most likely played 4/5th September (date is still unknown, updates to follow). For this game we are looking for players from all teams to participate, please let us know if you are ready to start your season with a cup game. In case of too many applications a selection will be made out of the enrolled players. We will kick off the season with an openingsborrel at our clubhouse on September 5th details to follow soon. If you enroll yourself on time we can make sure you are placed in a team, this is important because we want to take team pictures at the borrel.
