HVV Football Factory has its’ origins in LVV Football Factory. LVV Football Factory was established on 23 May, 2008. Pieter van Schie can be seen as the founder of both LVV Football Factory and HVV Football Factory. HVV FF got established on may 23th 2017 by Pieter van Schie and Lucas Seewald due to the increasing demand for a student football club in Den Haag. Pieter got inspired by the idea of creating a football club which focuses on the (international) student. Together with the Leiden University they brought this beautiful football club into being.
What started as a small club has now turned into a club consisting of 16 teams, including mens and womens teams, divided over two cities. Each team gets the opportunity to train twice a week. Even though well-established, the club envisions a bigger and better future in the years to come since the popularity of the club increases year by year. In the past, Football Factory found its’ home ground at the Einsteinweg in Leiden which is located in the BIO Science Park. Nowadays, HVV Football Factory has a groundshare with Duindorp SV, located at Houtrustlaan 1, 2566ZW, Den Haag.

The club currently is directed by and for students. This creates an informal space for everyone, which is easily accessible and fun for all. Since it is easily accessible for all, we expect that respect is shown to all and everything, to create a safe space for every Factorian within the club. This means both on- and off the pitch. The club stimulates off-pitch activities as well, by hosting borrels, hosting BBQs watching football together. Many friendships have been born because of this, which after all is what football is all about: creating friendships and memories to never forget. At the end of the 21-22 & 23-24 season, a big part of the club took part in an international tournament in Istanbul, whilst many other members went on holidays abroad. Therefore, become a Factorian yourselves and experience what this beautiful club has to offer for you!
